Martin Flett awarded RIAS Conservation Accreditation

We’re delighted to share that Martin Flett, founding director of Ossian Architects, has been awarded RIAS Accreditation in Conservation Architecture.

This is an important milestone for Martin and reflects Ossian’s continued work with existing buildings, listed buildings, traditional fabric and sensitive historic settings.

Martin’s application drew on conservation work across townhouses, mews buildings, villas and rural buildings, and on an approach based on understanding significance, retaining and repairing historic fabric where feasible, and supporting the careful adaptation and continued use of traditional buildings.

Conservation is central to much of our work as a practice, and we’re looking forward to continuing to develop this part of the studio.
