Lannan Pantry

Planning and building warrant support for a new pantry and shop beside Lannan Bakery in Stockbridge.

Lannan Pantry occupies a shop unit on Hamilton Place, next door to Lannan Bakery. Created by proprietor Darcie Maher, the space brings together provisions and homewares from selected producers across the UK, France and beyond. It also provides a setting for events and a collection point for bakery pre-orders.

Ossian supported the project through the planning and building warrant stages, working alongside the wider team to secure the statutory consents needed for the new use and fit-out.

The interior was designed by Rodi & Cécile Studio and delivered by Splintr. A palette of timber, stainless steel, patterned flooring and deep red surfaces gives the pantry a warm and informal character. Display shelving and counters are integrated throughout, allowing food, tableware and other objects to fill the space without losing the clarity of the interior.

Chairs were commissioned by Darcie from The Marchmont Workshop. Branding and typography are by Fed & Watered, illustrations by Hannah Robinson and gilded window signage by Thomas Payne. Structural engineering was provided by Elliott & Company.
