Architecture, conservation and interiors
We design new buildings and carefully adapt existing ones.
Ossian is an Edinburgh-based architecture practice working throughout Scotland and beyond.
Our projects vary in type and scale, from new buildings and interiors to the repair and adaptation of historic buildings and rural estates. We approach each project with an understanding of its setting, its use and the practical requirements of construction.
Our work brings together contemporary architecture and conservation expertise, with an emphasis on materials, detail and long-term use. Re-use, low-energy design and the use of durable, repairable materials are integral to this approach.
Studio
Ossian is a small, collaborative studio. We work closely with clients, consultants and craftspeople throughout the design and construction process. Our approach is straightforward and practical, with an emphasis on clear communication, attention to detail and working together to resolve the particular requirements of each project.
